Job summary

The PATH School seeks a Gifted and Talented (GT) Teacher to deliver enriched, accelerated, and differentiated instruction to scholars identified as gifted. The GT Teacher fosters critical thinking, creativity, and intellectual curiosity while addressing academic and emotional needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Valid teaching license/certification in the state.
• Endorsement or certification in Gifted and Talented Education or willingness to obtain within timeframe.
• Demonstrated knowledge of differentiated instruction for advanced learners.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement differentiated instruction for GT learners.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate GT practices.
• Develop independent projects and inquiry-based activities.
• Monitor and assess progress; provide timely feedback and adjust instruction.
• Maintain documentation of GT services, progress, and goals.
• Advocate for GT scholars and guide families on opportunities.
• Participate in identification and placement; communicate with staff and families.
• Stay current with research and best practices in Gifted Education.
• Support district GT programming and initiatives.
