Job summary

Unity Health is seeking a Gift Shop Associate to support daily shop operations and assist customers and volunteers. You will become familiar with merchandise, promote products, and help meet customer needs.

The role requires good communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift boxes. Occasional travel to other shops or pop-up locations may be involved.

Qualifications

• Strong organization and basic computer skills required.
• Some retail experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain gift shop hours; adjust with seasonal traffic.
• Assist customers and volunteers; promote products.
• Communicate needs to Gift Shop Supervisor and/or DVS.
• Familiarize with merchandise; meet customer requests.
• Lift boxes and merchandise; may require standing and ladder use.
• May travel to other shops or set up pop-up shops at remote locations.
• Other duties as needed.

Will communicate customer, shop and volunteer needs to Gift Shop Supervisor and/or DVS. Must become familiar with merchandise and promote products to meet customer requests and needs. Requires lifting boxes and merchandise; could involve prolonged standing and using a ladder. May involve travel and transport of product to other shops or setting up pop-up shops at remote locations. Other duties as identified or needed.
