Summary

Assists customers with purchasing merchandise in a friendly and courteous manner. Ensures merchandise is neatly displayed. Assists with marking and pricing merchandise.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assists customers with merchandise purchases.
• Ensures that all applicable health and safety precautions are followed.
• Accurately operates cash register. Makes change and processes credit card and room charges efficiently and accurately.
• Assists with merchandise stocking and ticketing. Ensures that merchandise is neatly displayed and in proper area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma. Must have legible handwriting.

• Work may include weekends, nights, and early mornings. Must be able to work on own, without constant supervision.

Working Conditions
