Job summary

Tampa General Hospital's Gift Shop seeks a Merchandise Associate to deliver a complete shopping experience on campus. Under supervision of the Gift Shop Manager, you will stock, display, price, and audit merchandise while assisting patients and visitors with personalized recommendations.

The role requires at least one year of retail experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong inventory and cash-handling skills. This is an on-site, part-time position on the TGH Main Campus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Arrange and stock merchandise on shelves and maintain a clean environment.
• Enter items in inventory, tag items, and keep inventory updated.
• Update product displays and ensure popular and on-sale products are visible.
• Engage with customers and provide personalized shopping suggestions.
• Ensure accurate pricing and conduct audits for consistency.
• Handle cash register operations and department orders.
• Deliver orders to patients while following infection prevention protocols.
• Assist in developing short and long-term goals to meet KPIs.
