Job summary

Angel of the Winds Casino Resort in Arlington, WA is seeking team members for front-line roles involving guest service and cash handling at the registers. The position requires excellent customer service, math accuracy, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license and Washington MASt Class 12 Mixologist Permit, with a strong emphasis on compliance, clarity in communication, and reliability in a fast-paced casino

Responsibilities

• Follows compliance with register operations policies and procedures
• Enforces compliance for age restricted sales
• Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service
• Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements
• Accurately and efficiently ring on registers and accurately maintain all cash and paperwork at the registers
• Communicate customer requests to management
• Maintain orderly appearance of register area and supplies stocked and rotated for expiration dates
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
• Compliant with established store policies and standards, such as safekeeping funds and property, personnel practices, security, sales and record-keeping procedures
• Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) Class 12 Mixologist Permit.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement daily with sedentary work, occasional bending and crouching. This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week work operation.
