Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Outfitter in Massachusetts to greet customers, demonstrate products, and help them make informed purchases. You will keep shelves stocked, stay knowledgeable about promotions, and assist with seasonal merchandise moves.

The role includes processing transactions and promoting memberships in a fast-paced retail setting. The position offers full-time hours with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid holidays

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent is required.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
• Friendly and professional communication with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and coworkers.
• Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all customers in a prompt, friendly manner.
• Demonstrate products to customers and explain features.
• Replenish and stock merchandise on shelves per guidelines.
• Remain a product expert through training and knowledge.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves and promotions.
• Process transactions and handle payments accurately.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and well-stocked work area.
• Provide information and direction to customers as needed.
