Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Focus on the Family seeks an Associate Gift Planning Officer to serve as a donor service and gift administration specialist within Planned Giving. You will support donors, advisors, and internal teams through estate gifts, annuities, IRA distributions, and other non-cash gifts.

You will maintain accurate records, educate donors on planning tools, and collaborate with the Gift Planning Officer to ensure gifts are administered accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Nonprofit, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in planned giving, donor services, gift administration, or related fields.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and utilizing CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Strong donor service orientation and ability to work with professionals and donors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Gift Planning Officer in estate gifts, charitable gift annuities, IRA distributions, and non-cash gifts.
• Handle donor communication, gift processing, stewardship, and reporting.
• Maintain records, educate donors on planning tools, and ensure accurate data in CRM.
• Coordinate annuity administration, illustrations, and documentation from inquiry to contract.
• Collaborate with attorneys, trustees, and advisors to support gift planning and governance.
