Job summary

Air Force Academy Foundation seeks a Gift Funds Manager to oversee gift funds from acceptance to closure, ensuring donor intent alignment. You will collaborate with Finance, Development, Stewardship, and Academy partners to ensure compliant fund administration and accurate reporting.

The role emphasizes policy development, training staff, and managing monthly gift funds reporting in a dynamic nonprofit environment at USAFA. A Bachelor’s degree and advanced Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required
• Strong Excel skills and MS Office 365 proficiency
• Ability to pass a DBIDS Background check
• Military service experience is viewed favorably
• Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Uphold the Academy and Foundation core values
• Learn how the Foundation interacts with the Academy
• Research fund usage data to preserve donor intent and timeliness
• Draft and implement policies for gift funds management across departments
• Maintain gift funds processes and coordinate dissemination of information to stakeholders
• Lead gift funds reporting, including monthly fund spending reports
• Prepare Academy gift offers and coordinate gift funds meetings
• Educate staff on gift funds procedures and provide training to new hires
• Explain Academy priorities to stakeholders within the Foundation
• Stay current with Academy priorities and related programs
