UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) for the Gastroenterology (GI) unit. This 100% onsite role is based in the greater Chicagoland area, Harvey, IL, with a sign-on bonus up to $15,000.

The RN will coordinate and perform direct nursing care, mentor and lead the care team, and work with physicians to achieve optimal patient outcomes. 12-hour day shifts with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care and adherence to hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or ADN.
• Current RN Licensure in Illinois (or valid temporary permit).
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Collaborates with physicians to design and evaluate the care plan.
• Provide complex nursing care and delegate tasks per unit competencies.
• Monitor quality of patient care and patient satisfaction.
• Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities.
• Ensure daily operations of the patient care center run smoothly.
• Uphold hospital policies and compliance requirements.
