Job summary

Odessa Endoscopy Center is seeking a Full-Time GI Technician to operate under the direct supervision of a surgeon, aiding in simple and complex endoscopic procedures and ensuring equipment readiness.

The role includes cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining endoscopes, managing patient flow, and handling room prep, stocking, and clerical tasks in a fast-paced ambulatory GI lab. Weekdays only, no holidays or weekends; some early mornings and later evenings may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GI Lab.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center or surgical hospital preferred.
• Current BLS required, ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopic procedures under supervisor.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopes and instruments.
• Manage patient flow and prepare rooms for procedures.
• Stock supplies, order materials, and perform clerical tasks.
