Job summary

The Endoscopy Center in Hilo, HI is seeking a full-time GI Technician to join our growing team. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining video endoscopes and accessories, assisting during procedures, and performing daily equipment maintenance under Center Manager guidance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in any patient care role needed.
• Experience or knowledge of GI/Endoscopy procedures or sterile processing techniques is a plus.
• BLS certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain video endoscopes and accessories in the GI Endoscopy suites under the Center Manager's guidance.
• Follow CDC guidelines for infection prevention and control.
• Assist physicians and staff nurses during procedures.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and support the center's mission.
