Job summary

Endoscopy Center of Southern California is seeking a GI Technician to join the team as a Full Time member. The role supports the endoscopy team through procedures, sterile setup, patient movement, and room cleaning to meet patient outcomes.

The position requires 1+ years of GI/endoscopy experience, a High school diploma or GED, and current BLS/CPR certification (AHA). Starting pay ranges from $25–$34 per hour, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years in endoscopy or GI procedure experience, preferably in an ASC or outpatient setting.
• Current BLS and CPR certifications accredited by AHA.

Responsibilities

• Assists the endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures.
• Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operation and passes items as needed for the endoscopy team.
• Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the endoscopy room.
• GI Technician is responsible for the provision of care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse.
• Provides a centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment for the facility.
• In charge of shipping and receiving, stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas.
• Maintains and tracks inventory according to facility procedures.
