Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System in Kansas City is seeking an Endoscopy Support role to ensure availability and proper functioning of endoscopic equipment and supplies. The position involves cleaning and disinfecting equipment and assisting the physician and nursing staff in patient care and recovery at the Digestive Disease Center.

The role reports to an RN and requires BLS certification with less than one year of applicable experience.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper availability and functioning of endoscopic equipment accessories and supplies.
• Clean and disinfect endoscopic equipment according to standards.
• Assist the physician and/or nurse in the preparation, delivery of care and recovery of Digestive Disease Center patients.
• Work under the direction of the RN.
