Job summary

Endoscopy Center of Southern California is seeking a GI Technician for a full-time position in Santa Monica, CA. You will assist the endoscopy team during procedures, prepare and pass supplies, and help maintain room cleanliness and patient flow.

Starting pay is $25-$29 per hour, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401k, and holiday pay. Requires a high school diploma and 1+ year endoscopy experience with current BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years in endoscopy or gastrointestinal procedure experience, preferably in an ASC or outpatient setting.
• Current BLS and CPR certifications accredited by AHA.

Responsibilities

• Assists the endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures.
• Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operation and passes items as needed for the endoscopy team.
• Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the endoscopy room.
• GI Tech is responsible for the provision of care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse.
• Provides a centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment for the facility.
• In charge of shipping and receiving, stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas.
• Maintains and tracks inventory according to facility procedures.
