Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• A current RN License in the State of Illinois is required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• ACLS certification is preferred, required for critical care and ER.
• PALS certification required for ER and Pediatrics.
• NRP certification required for Special Care Nursery.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care of patients.
• Direct and supervise nursing care for patients in the gastroenterology setting.

Skills

Ability to recognize changes in condition and needs of patients

High degree of accuracy in carrying out work duties

Education
