Responsibilities

• Delivers patient care using the nursing process and Relationship Centered Care.
• Assesses patient care needs and applies critical thinking in care management.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Educates patients and families about their plan of care, transition of care, and health promotion.
• Documents accurately and supports patient throughput; uses approved standards and systems.
• Performs charge nurse duties as assigned; ensures supplies and staffing resources are adequate.
