Job summary

Required are a NYS RN license and a BSN; ADN with BSN progression may be considered. Ongoing professional development and adherence to evidence-based practices are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; ADN with BSN matriculation acceptable.
• Current NYS Registered Nurse license.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care per standards and nursing theory.
• Assess patient needs and apply nursing process through critical thinking.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate effective handoffs, discharge planning and patient education.
• Document accurately in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements.
