Job summary

Enloe Medical Center in Chico, CA, is seeking a Nurse Manager for GI Services to lead the nursing team on a 24-hour basis, support high quality patient care, and manage staffing, budgets and resources in alignment with Enloe's mission.

The Nurse Manager reports to the Director of Surgery Services and may serve as Charge Nurse as needed, supervising staff, guiding practice, and promoting patient-centered care with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Five years cumulative GI experience with supervisory exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field; CA RN license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in development and management of department budgets and productivity targets.
• Leads employees, supports organizational goals, and ensures quality of care.
• Maintains regulatory standards and participates in quality improvement processes.
• Acts as liaison between patient/family, physician and care team to problem solve.
• Supervises staff and promotes staff development and adherence to policies.
