Job summary

Gastro One is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our GI team in Tennessee. You will support patients throughout their procedural journey, collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure safety, comfort, and high-quality care in an outpatient setting.

The role emphasizes preoperative assessment, intraoperative support, and post-anesthesia care, with a schedule mainly on weekdays and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee.
• Experience in preoperative and postoperative care.
• Ability to work weekday hours with some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough preoperative assessments and obtain medical histories.
• Administer medications and provide pre-procedure education to patients and families.
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition during the preoperative phase.
• Assist with smooth patient transitions to the procedure area.
• Provide post-anesthesia care, including pain management and discharge readiness assessment.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care.
• Accurately document patient care and maintain medical records.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and quality protocols.
