Job summary

Greenbayer is seeking a GI Technician (PRN) in Green Bay to assist during endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures. You will prep rooms, handle specimens, and support the care team to ensure patient safety and efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS certification, infection control knowledge, and SGNA relevant experience or certification within six months. This on-site position is part-time and focuses on maintaining equipment and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• SGNA GI Technician certification or relevant experience within 6 months preferred.
• BLS certification required or to be completed within a specified timeframe.
• Knowledge of infection control practices and sterile techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care activities under supervision of RN/physician during procedures.
• Assist physicians with endoscopic procedures, including specimen handling and transport.
• Prepare and organize procedure rooms and equipment per physician specs.
• Perform high-level disinfection and reprocessing of equipment and scopes.
• Document procedures, images, videos, and charges in EMR systems.
• Maintain inventory, stock supplies, and perform clerical tasks as needed.
