Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking a Full-Time GI Technician Medical Assistant at Park Creek Surgery Center in Town of Florida, New York. Under the Director of Nursing, the GI Tech provides vital assistance to the Physician during procedures. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited RN School with an active RN license and required CPR certifications. This position offers medical, dental, vision coverage, life insurance, and retirement planning options, along with paid holidays and vacation.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state is required.
• GI experience preferred; clinical experience in GI procedure room is ideal.
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physician throughout the procedure under supervision.
• Make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Organize workload to meet patient needs.

Education

Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing

High school graduate or equivalent
