Job summary

Park Creek Surgery Center is seeking a GI Technician Medical Assistant for a full-time role. Under the Director of Nursing and RN supervision, you will assist the physician during GI procedures and support patient care in the unit.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma, GI or MA experience, and CPR certification. Prior PACU/critical care experience is a plus. We offer comprehensive benefits and a collaborative work environment.

Park Creek Surgery Center, is looking for a GI Technician Medical Assistant, Full Time

Jon Summary: under the Director of Nursing and the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the GI Tech is responsible for providing assistance to the Physician throughout the procedure.

Education/Experience

• High school graduate or equivalent
• GI Experience preferred, Medical Assistant experience Preferred
• Previous clinical experience in GI procedure room environment Preferred
• Current certification in CPR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
