Job summary

Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles seeks a GI Lab Procedure RN to provide specialized nursing care for GI diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including endoscopy and related interventions. You will assess patients, prepare them for procedures, monitor during and after, and assist the team to ensure safety, comfort, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a California RN license (ACLS/PALS required), a BSN preferred, and 3 years of acute care nursing with GI, ICU, or PACU experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
• California RN license required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• CGRN preferred (or willing to obtain within one year from start date).

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing GI diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Assess, prepare, monitor, and assist during endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and other GI interventions.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to regulatory and infection prevention standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, technicians, and interdisciplinary staff.
