Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital in Boston, MA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Technician to join the patient care team. You will assist the Registered Nurse with clinical tasks, perform glucose monitoring, EKGs, dressings, and CPR/AED as needed while maintaining patient-centered care on a busy unit.

Prior CNA/PCA experience is preferred; strong communication and math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Nursing Student who completed Fundamentals of Nursing or equivalent rotation.
• Pass clinical competency and basic math/tests as required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside PCA/CNA support under RN supervision.
• Perform blood glucose monitoring and EKGs as assigned.
• Apply simple dressings and use aseptic technique.
• Respond to medical emergencies using Heartsaver CPR and AED.
