Job summary

Erasca, a clinical-stage precision oncology company, seeks a Senior or Executive Director, GI Medical Strategy to lead medical strategy for GI cancers, especially pancreas cancer, and to shape development plans, evidence generation, and KOL engagement.

This role can be hybrid in San Diego or South San Francisco, or fully remote anywhere in the U.S., reporting to the VP of Medical Affairs and building the GI medical affairs function.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a medical or science field preferred; significant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 8+ years of related pharma medical affairs or clinical development experience.
• Significant GI cancer experience, including pancreas cancer.
• Strong scientific acumen to communicate with stakeholders.
• Ability to lead with vision, influence, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead GI cancers Medical Affairs strategy and cross-functional plans.
• Develop GI clinical development, evidence generation, and KOL engagement strategies.
• Oversee GI oncology studies, publications, and medical communications.
• Build relationships with GI oncology thought leaders and external groups.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.
