Amgen seeks an Oncology Strategy Director to lead cross-functional, high-impact initiatives shaping the oncology portfolio. The role can be remote, with occasional Pacific Time Zone hours to align with global Development leadership.

You will drive strategic planning, analytics, and external partnerships, while communicating with senior executives and coordinating across R&D, finance and operations to advance cancer therapies.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Masters, or Bachelor’s degree with healthcare business experience.
• Advanced strategic leadership and cross-functional collaboration required.
• Strong communication with senior executives and partners in a global setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic, cross-functional projects for the Oncology Therapeutic Area.
• Drive annual portfolio strategies and landscape evaluations.
• Conduct technology assessments and risk analyses across programs.
• Support scientific collaborations and external partnerships.
• Coordinate global communications and advisory activities for Development leadership.
• Navigate ambiguity and lead ad hoc strategic initiatives as needed.
