Job summary

The GI Division at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our fast-paced ambulatory gastroenterology practice in Boston. Under supervision of the APP Manager and GI faculty, the APP will provide direct patient care, handle new, urgent and follow-up visits, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team.

The schedule is Monday–Friday day shifts with 8 clinical sessions and 1 hour admin per session.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant required.
• MA APRN-NP or PA licensure required.
• 2 years APP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for GI patients in ambulatory setting.
• Manage new, urgent and follow-up visits as part of the GI team.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, MAs and care coordinators to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in a team-based care approach and maintain high-quality care standards.
