Job summary

Amgen seeks a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Inflammation for the LA/TN/AR region. The role is field-based with extensive travel, acting as a primary scientific resource for opinion leaders, community healthcare providers, and population health decision makers.

You will execute medical and product strategies, communicating rigorous scientific information. The MSL collaborates with internal stakeholders, supports sponsored research, and participates in national/regional conferences.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• 1+ years Medical Affairs experience.
• 4+ years in a medically related field, including clinical practice or research.

Responsibilities

• Engage with opinion leaders and community healthcare providers to discuss and advance scientific platform.
• Communicate accurate, balanced scientific data and Amgen strategy to HCPs and PHDMs.
• Travel 60–70% for territory management and attendance at conferences/workshops.
• Support sponsored research and provide study leadership where indicated.
• Maintain compliance and up-to-date scientific acumen; use CRM systems like Veeva/ALIGN.
