Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree & 3 years of Medical Affairs experience OR Bachelor’s degree & 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O. (other doctoral degrees considered)
• Experience with designated territory and current experience in Scientific Affairs or Medical Affairs at a biotech or pharmaceutical company
• Respiratory, Gastroenterology, and/or Inflammation expertise

Responsibilities

• Engage with physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss scientific data aligned with Amgen’s goals.
• Travel 60–70% for territory management and attendance at national/regional conferences and company meetings.
• Support and lead on congress activities and speaker training as requested.
• Provide and present field observations to inform Amgen strategies and outcomes.
• Liaise with potential investigators in non-sponsored clinical research
• Compliantly partner across Amgen field roles to create a coordinated One Amgen experience

Education

Doctorate degree

Master’s degree + 3 years of Medical Affairs experience
