Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, MA diploma, or related coursework.
• Minimum one year in a medical facility as MA, or externship.
• Gastroenterology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care and exam/setup.
• Check vital signs, collect specimens, and screenings as directed.
• Charting, phone triage, and patient education.
• Clerical tasks: scheduling, records, insurance verification.
