Job summary

Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, RI seeks a dedicated CNA GI Technician to support GI procedures as a scrub assistant. The role demands readiness to hand instruments, maintain sterile supplies, and assist during emergencies, with on-call responsiveness.

The position requires a CNA or Medical Assistant training and a current BLS certificate, plus prior GI experience is preferred. Full-time days schedule offered within a respected acute care setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Graduate of a CNA or Medical Assistant training program.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum 2 years GI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scrub assistant to physician during invasive GI procedures.
• Pass sterilized instruments, scopes and supplies to physician promptly.
• Be prepared to assist in emergencies within 30 minutes when on-call.
• Support ongoing, quality patient care for adults and older adults.
• Adhere to hospital policies, participate in Performance Improvement activities.
