Job summary

Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the GI Lab. This full-time role includes 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts, and requires taking a 30-minute call window.

You will run 3 rooms daily plus a 4th room on Tuesdays, with staggered start times. Responsibilities include admitting, interop, recovering patients, providing nursing care, coordinating with the health care team, ensuring safety, and participating in quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with family involvement.
• Coordinates discharge planning using an interdisciplinary approach.
• Ensures patient safety and regulatory standards in care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient and family education and involvement throughout care.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes with appropriate actions.
• Collaborate with health care team to coordinate patient-centered care.
