Job summary

The Staff Nurse in the GI Lab at Swedish Hospital Chicago, part of Endeavor Health, provides safe nursing care from 6:45a to 5:30p, with on-call weekend and weekday shifts as outlined. Compensation includes a $10K sign-on bonus with 1 year Endo/GI experience eligibility, and opportunities to float to other Endeavor locations.

The role requires NLN-accredited nursing education, IL RN licensure, BLS, and PALS/ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school of Nursing; BSN strongly preferred.
• IL RN license and BLS certification.
• PALS and ACLS within 6 months of start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and compassionate nursing care by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float to other Endeavor locations as needed and provide continuity of care.
