BJC HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the GI Lab in O'Fallon, Illinois. This staff position involves direct patient care in a GI specialty setting, with emphasis on assessment, planning, and collaboration with the interprofessional team.

Preferred candidates have ED/ICU experience and hold a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree. Memorial Hospital Belleville and Shiloh campuses are part of the Memorial network under BJC, offering a broad range of acute care services.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Nursing diploma/associate degree required.
• ED/ICU experience preferred in addition to GI Lab duties.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Educates patients and families on illness management and post-treatment care.
• Shares in ensuring patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance, and participates in professional development.
• Develops and documents care plans with the interprofessional team and communicates across the continuum.
