Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare seeks a Clinical Care Supervisor to lead day-to-day GI Lab and Procedural unit operations, clinical care, and education efforts. The role includes supervising staff, coordinating patient flow, and ensuring safety and quality.

The supervisor also mentors new staff, coordinates orientation, and serves in the Charge Nurse role as needed. The position involves collaboration with the Nurse Manager/Director, ongoing performance improvement, and adherence to labor contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• Two (2) years of pertinent clinical experience in the GI Lab.
• Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for unit/department annual plans and monitors indicators.
• Supervises employees, including interviewing, hiring, evaluating and performance management.
• Acts as Nurse Manager in their absence and coordinates patient care with other nursing services.
• Coordinates infection prevention within the department and organization.
• Coordinates staff orientation, competency assessment, and ongoing staff development.
