We are looking for a Line Cook to join our team!

Gi-jin is an elevated raw bar focusing on sushi, hand-rolls, and gin. It is part of the Richard DeShantz Restaurant Group, which includes Meat & Potatoes, Butcher and the Rye, Tako, Tako Torta, Sally Ann's, Fish nor Fowl, Coop de Ville, and Poulet Bleu.

We seek candidates who are committed, hardworking, team-oriented, and eager to grow their skills and responsibilities. Ideal candidates enjoy working under pressure and being part of a close-knit team.

Requirements

• Open availability including evenings and weekends
• 2+ years experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment
• Sushi/Japanese cuisine experience is a big advantage
• Passion for excellence, superior service standards, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work under pressure
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and move during the entire shift, including frequent bending and stooping
