Atlantic Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join the Medical-Surgical Gastrointestinal/Genitourinary (GI/GU) unit at Overlook Medical Center. This part-time, day-shift role focuses on providing high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

The RN will care for patients with GI/GU conditions, conduct assessments, administer medications, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in New Jersey required.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing (ADN/BSN).
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to GI/GU patients.
• Monitor patient conditions, assess symptoms, and report changes.
• Administer medications and treatments with monitoring for adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and vital signs data.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and post-discharge care.
