Job summary

Endoscopy Center of Southern California is hiring a Scope Technician to support the endoscopy team in procedures, maintain sterile setup, and assist in patient preparation and room cleaning. The role ensures supply control and inventory management within the facility, under RN direction.

Starting pay ranges from $25 to $34 per hour, commensurate with experience, with comprehensive benefits and a supportive ambulatory care environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years in endoscopy or GI procedure experience.
• Current BLS and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assists the endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures.
• Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operation and passes items as needed for the endoscopy team.
• Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the endoscopy room.
• GI Tech is responsible for the provision of care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse.
• Provides a centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment for the facility.
• In charge of shipping and receiving, stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas.
• Maintains and tracks inventory according to facility procedures.
