Job summary

Howard County GI in Columbia, MD seeks an Endoscopy Tech to join our team. Schedule: 3 days per week. Assists endoscopy team, prepares sterile setup, passes instruments, assists patients, and maintains the endoscopy room under RN direction.

The Endo Tech provides centralized distribution and inventory control and handles shipping/receiving to keep supplies stocked. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required.
• Two years of endoscopy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist endoscopy team during procedures.
• Arrange and inventory sterile setup for operation.
• Pass items to the endoscopy team as needed.
• Assist in preparing and moving patients and cleaning the endoscopy room.
• Provide centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment.
• Ship/receive and store prepared articles; track inventory per procedures.

Job Summary

Assists endoscopy team during endoscopy procedures. Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operation and passes items as needed to the endoscopy team. Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the endoscopy room. The Endo Tech is responsible for the provision of care to meet identified patient outcomes and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse. Provides a centralized distribution and control of supplies and equipment to the facility. In charge of shipping and receiving, stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas. Maintains and tracks inventory according to facility procedures.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED
• CPR
• two years experience in endoscopy preferred

Pay Range- Min: $19.60 to Max: $28.42

(Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)
