Cypress Endoscopy Center is hiring an Endoscopy Tech to assist with endoscopic procedures and equipment under the supervision of a surgeon. The role includes cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining endoscopes and related instrumentation, plus facilitating patient flow and room turnover.

Responsibilities also include stocking procedure rooms, ordering supplies, and performing a variety of clerical duties as needed.

Qualifikationen

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Preferred two years’ experience in endoscopy.
• BLS Certification

Endoscopy Tech at Cypress Endoscopy Center

The GI technician/Endoscopy functions under the direct supervision of a surgeon to assist with the operation of technical equipment used during simple and complex endoscopic procedures. The physician, registered nurse and the GI technician work as a team in the procedure room to provide the optimal conditions in achieving positive patient outcomes. The GI technician is also responsible for cleaning, disinfecting and maintaining endoscopes and other instrumentation. Other GI technician responsibilities include facilitating patient flow, room turnover. Stocking procedure rooms, ordering supplies and performing a variety of clerical duties.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Preferred two years’ experience in endoscopy.
• BLS Certification
