Job summary

Care New England Health System in Providence, RI is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate nursing care to diverse patient populations in collaboration with families, following the ANA Standards of Professional Nursing Practice.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, support physicians with tests, participate in emergency procedures, protect patient confidentiality, maintain CPR credentials, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Must maintain CPR and any credentialing or certification necessary to be competent as a Registered Nurse.
• Must be proficient in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency, individually and as part of the multidisciplinary team, in performing clinical care and assessment of all patient populations.
• Provides individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients to whom they are assigned.
• Assists physicians with special tests and procedures.
• Functions well in emergency procedures according to policy and procedure.
• Facilitates a team approach to the patient plan of care incorporating all disciplines involved.
• Incorporates standards of care into nursing practices.
• Develops, maintains, and enhances necessary skills to work with all patients to whom they may be assigned.
• Serves as a clinical resource to enhance the development of other nursing staff members.
• Exhibits professional interpersonal skills in all situations.Protects and preserves patient rights to confidentiality.
