Job summary

Aurora West Allis Medical Center in West Allis, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse for the GI Lab. You will provide and coordinate patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings, supporting endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies, EGD, ERCP, EUS, and bronchoscopies.

Ideal candidates have an accredited nursing program, Wisconsin RN license, BLS, ACLS within orientation, and 1–2 years of Med/Surg/ICU/ED or perioperative nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in Wisconsin.
• ACLS within 3 months of hire; BLS required at hire.
• 1-2 years of Med/Surg, ICU, ED or 1 year perioperative nursing experience; extern time excluded.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using established nursing processes and standards.
• Lead patient safety efforts and ensure compassionate, evidence-based care.
• Participate in cross-training and support GI procedures.
