Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a busy GI Endoscopy Unit. You will care for inpatients and outpatients under the Nurse Manager, using evidence-based practices to plan and deliver care that meets physical, emotional, and educational needs of patients and families.

The role requires a CT RN license, BSN from an accredited school, and 1–2 years of Stepdown/ICU experience preferred. Excellent multitasking, motivation, and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN License.
• BSN required (Graduate of an accredited nursing school).
• 1–2 years of Stepdown/ICU experience preferred.
• Must be highly motivated, energetic and organized; able to multitask.
• Leadership skills and willingness to take on departmental projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in a busy GI Endoscopy Unit for inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Develop and execute care plans using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high quality care.
