Job summary

Westside Surgical Center in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee nursing services and clinical operations in a fast-paced GI and endoscopy environment. This full-time leadership role provides clinical oversight for endoscopy services, leads a dedicated nursing team, and ensures excellence in patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years nursing leadership experience in ambulatory surgery center, GI lab, or endoscopy setting.
• Strong knowledge of endoscopy workflows, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage nursing and clinical teams in the GI/endoscopy setting.
• Oversee daily clinical operations for safe patient care.
• Maintain patient safety, infection prevention, and quality outcomes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation standards.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, competencies, and supply management.
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, anesthesia providers, and administrative leadership to support center goals.
• Drive process improvements to enhance patient experience and clinical efficiency.
• Serve as the clinical leader and resource for staff, providers, and patients.
