Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide direct patient care across specialty clinics under physician supervision. This role may involve inpatient, emergency, or procedural settings as needed, with delegated prescriptive authority.

The PA will participate in developing comprehensive treatment plans, counseling patients on medications, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Education: Grad of an Accredited PA program.
• Experience: Less than 1 year recommended.
• Licensure: TX PA license required.
• Certification: NCCPA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients through physical exams and histories.
• Order and interpret lab tests and diagnostics.
• Prescribe and manage medications per scope and protocols.
• Develop and implement outcomes-based treatment plans with the team.
• Counsel patients and families on care, meds, nutrition and lifestyle.
• Maintain records of treatment plans and outcomes.
• Provide consultation within specialty and training.
• Participate in inpatient/outpatient care and related settings.
