Qualifications

Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) with 2 years of clinical experience.
Must obtain CNSC certification within one year of hire.
Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable.

Responsibilities

Clinical Nutrition Care: Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve outcomes.
Education: Guide patients, families, staff and community on nutrition and lifestyle strategies for sustainable wellness.
Evidence-Based Practice: Apply latest research in alignment with the diet manual and facility policies for high-quality care.
Quality & Performance Improvement: Contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance patient care and clinical excellence.
Collaboration & Service Excellence: Work with food service management to achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
Mentorship & Professional Development: Support growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training.
