Job summary

HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator GI to lead high-quality, patient-centered care on the unit. You will collaborate with management to supervise staff, coordinate nursing care, and support initiatives that boost patient outcomes.

The CNC will assist with admissions, discharges, staffing, and training, while promoting a patient-first culture and service excellence within a large healthcare system in the Denver metro area.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS, PALS and/or ENPC certifications desired.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN desirable.
• One (1) year minimum Endoscopy, Day Surgery, PACU, experience Required.
• Previous Nursing Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to create teamwork for improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Operates initiatives like hourly rounds to improve engagement.
• Assists with staff interviewing, scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.

Skills

Registered Nurse (Colorado)

BLS certification

ACLS/PALS/ENPC desirable

BSN desirable

Endoscopy/Day Surgery/PACU experience

Nursing leadership experience

Education

RN licensure in Colorado

Nursing degree (BSN preferred)
