Job summary

Endoscopy ASC of Middle Georgia, an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Macon, Georgia, seeks a motivated GI Circulator Nurse for a full-time position. The role works under the charge nurse and clinical director to provide perioperative GI care in a fast-paced ASC.

Responsibilities include assessing and planning perioperative care, following SGNA standards, and communicating effectively with physicians, patients and the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Georgia.
• BCLS/ACLS certification required.
• Experience in GI procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates perioperative care for patients having GI procedures in an ambulatory surgery center.
• Provides care following center policies and SGNA standards of practice.
• Communicates patient care needs to physicians, patients, families and the health care team.
• Prioritizes tasks, demonstrates critical thinking, and adapts to changing priorities.
• Documents nursing care accurately and maintains required competencies.
