Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) in Conshohocken, PA is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience for a full-time Automotive Technician Apprentice position. This role involves diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles while completing a one-year, competency-based apprenticeship leading to certification. Eligible Veterans can receive support including a Monthly Housing Allowance through the GI Bill. Ideal candidates should have strong troubleshooting skills and be willing to undergo a background check.
Qualifications
Must have an Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field required.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills necessary.
Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening required.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including all systems.
Perform diagnostics and mechanical repairs using Kia procedures.
Communicate with service advisors for a positive customer experience.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
