Qualifications

• Masters of Science in Nursing OR Master of Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• No prior experience required
• Active N.P. or P.A. license in the State of Kentucky

Responsibilities

• Function within the scope of practice as defined by state regulations and your collaborative agreement with the supervising physician.
• Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Perform medication management, patient education, and counseling on lifestyle modifications.
• Adhere to patient confidentiality, infection prevention, safety and security measures, and all hospital policies and procedures.
• Model CHI Saint Joseph's core values while working collaboratively with gastroenterologists, primary care providers, and specialists.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records while empowering patients to actively participate in their treatment plans.
